Yes its true. However Chris is wanting to bring back the site. Hes just waiting to get out of debt. The future looks bright for hp.com-ers though.

does anyone know how much money was donanted?

 

at the bottom of his message on HP.com it says that a couple hundred was donated so far.... could be hopeful.

 

Last I talked to him he was still about $800 in the hole.

 

A little under $1200 was donated. I owed the ISP exactly $1200 so I am debt free as far as they go. Thanks to everyone who donated! I am in the hole a little for the last round of shirts I bought but that is no big deal. Hopefully we will eventually sell all of those. I don't know whether I will ever revive the site but things are better now that I am not losing several hundred a month. Especially with being out of work at the moment. This is not a good time to be a computer programmer.

 

Chris do you know a guy that went by prelude9t3si on hp.com, aka dereck anderson. He scammed me out of $950.

 

CHRIS!!!!!! Glad to hear that your doing better. Not just programers are having a hard time finding jobs, thanks to the economy. Hang in there!
