i changed my muffler last week for a Bosla performance, the pipe is 2 1/4" with a pre, before i used another generic muffler and the sounds was better because it sounds hard and now is quiet, should i take off the pre and use the straight pipe until the muffler??

would i loose thorque or win it?

If you want max power use a 3" exhaust from the headder back. If you don't, use a 2 1/2.
