b18c was good in my 98 coupe then we swapped it into my buddies 93 coupe
the thing runs great. it was throwing codes for iacv map
i changed the map and cel went away for that and then changed the iacv
codes gone

the motor has fitv but i have no idea if that could cause this i never worked on these motors with fitv or never noticed it

as soon as the car is started it revs up and down by itself. for about 15 minutes then stops when it is fully warm. we bled the coolant


any idea guys
also when i start it up it does it but if i put it in gear and drive it stops but once i release the clutch then it starts again till warm
very annoying to say the least especially with his annoying fartcan. jeez i want to kill myself every time i hear his car

 

Clean and adjust the FITV.

 

will do that thursday could i just get rid of it
and run the newere tb that doesnt have the fitv

 

ya you could....but you wont have a high idle at cold start up to speed up the warm up proccess.

 

did a b18c swap on my eg and tuned on s100. i had the same problem. i cleaned air idle control valve, new gaskets on throttle body, messed with the idle adjustment on the motor, etc. nothing worked. got pissed bought s300, turned down the sensitivity on the aic valve and all my worries went away.
