ok lm doing my h22 swap into my 96 accord. ive read all swap quides they all say u can use a 97+ prelude bracket and pump to not have to customize hose. ok so l have both but l went to bolt up alternator bracket the holes line up but is hitting ps bracket and wont bolt on right. what should l do?

You can stay with an accord pump with 5gen bracket. It should fit OK, if not take a grinder and take out some material.
