vtec black wire going no where

Default vtec black wire going no where
could someone tell me where this wire is suposed to be going. i bought the car this way. not my fault. its a d15 with vtec. its black so it might be a ground but idk

It's a ground, can be grounded anywhere really.

thats what i thought. thanx. also do u know if u need a groud going off the valve cover or could it just go to the block?

I personally grounded it to a bolt on the solenoid since it's right there.
