f22a1 to h23a1 swap!!
hey guys im getting ready to swap my 91 acoord with a stock f22a1 to a h22a1 and ive written plenty of notes down and i wanna see if everything ive written is proper and if theres anything else i should need to know. here it is:
1. 92-96 h23a1 motor WILL fit in a 91 honda accord lx
2. a p28 ecu WILL work for an h23 motor IF ITS CHIPPED TUNED PROPERLY AND FOR A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
3.it WILL need an h23 wiring harness
4.it will need an h23 exhaust manifold
5. it WILL need the RIGHT SIDE engine mount from an h23 motor
6. f22 CV axles WILL work on an h23 engine
7. my f22 intake manifold WILL bolt on with an h23 motor
8.my f22 transmission WILL bolt to a h23 motor
WHAT I NEED TO DO THE SWAP...
-one complete and working h23 motor
-h23 wiring harness
-h23 exhaust manifold
-h23 right side engine mount
-P28 ECU
i belive this is all correct but if not id like some imput and if theres anymore that i might need to know as far as problems that i might run into with the swap. im new to the forum and im only 18 so im just tryna get my **** together before i start. thanks alot guys!

Check the FAQ's, it's alot easier. They already have everything you need for the DIY swap.
Just makes your life alot easier.
But since you did your homework, it's just a plug and play swap.
Just make sure you have the correct wirings done.

well im gonna try to pick up the stock h23 wiring harness from a junk yard so it will be just plug and play but im putting a p28 civic ecu in the car because i heard it was the most versital ecu for tuning. but im not sure if ill need adapters becuse p28s come from single cam civics...
