Small build up/clean up/engine swap... Checkerd Sports Bolt Boys
Buddy of mine brought me his car to swap and clean up a bit, decided to do a small build thread. Nothing crazy big, or it might turn to it? hahaa.
Im pretty sure most of you guys have seen the car. Now belongs to Zee Chen

Brought it to my house the other day, this is how I got it.

I started pulling stuff out that I was taking out and didn't realize how much more stuff an Si Eg has until I started.
Day 1:
-pulled out Power steering
-pulled out all the airbag stuff
-pulled off headlights/corners
-pulled out engine wiring from engine bay
-pulled dash out
-pulled out cruise control
-drilled out passenger engine mount
-drilled out radiator factory brackets
Dead weight hahah

Cleaning the garage, some more garbage from the car.
Also removed the Power steering rack, donor CX non-power steering rack came in today.
Did this the other night when I had some time.
Should be putting in some work tomorrow finally since I have tomorrow off.

Zee (Owner of the car) came over and I put him to work haha, 20 degrees and we rolled the car out to scrub the engine bay, 10 minutes later my driveway is ice.
Thanks Eric, not a crazy rebuild but simple clean up.
Had some time today,
-finished wiping down the engine bay
-made the fuel return line
-Cut firewall for harness
-Put 88a bushings in the Hasport mounts
-Then decided to bolt the engine up
I was going to start on the wiring and coolant, but there is just way too much wiring to do so I will do it on a day I have completely off to finish it. I didn't feel like getting dirty today either that's why I only did simple stuff. lol.
How it sits right now.

Took out this old leaky clutch master cylinder.
Checkerd Sports s2k Clutch master cylinder kit.

Installation-
Remove old cmc
Remover cotter pin
Remove clutch line (dont get fluid on paint, if you do wash instantly)
Remove 2 nuts that hold the cmc from inside firewall.
Remove boot from old cmc if still good
Put boot on new cmc
Replace with new s2k cmc and checkerd sports spacer,
bolt it
put cotter pin back into place,
REPLACE old line with Bolt Boys Clutch Line (Pics coming soon of that)
Here is a more detailed write up, mine was just quick. It's also a lot easier to do this while the engine is out, he did this with engine in.

Got the R Crew Exhaust mounted and welded. 3" and Zee decided he didn't want the resonator, so its 3" straight all the way until muffler. HAHA It's ok we don't have smog or emissions here.
I love new hangers!
His old tie rods were beat so we decided it was time for new ones.
Wiring is almost done, just have to finish the charge harness, and finish fuel system so we can start it up, then just waiting on clutch line and bolts to put it back together. Hopefully it will be out of the garage by the end of the week. Ill take more pics tomorrow I didn't have much time to take some today.

Got the car running worked out the small bugs, just have to wait for interior piece to finish the push button and alarms/rs.
Will have sound clip of exhaust w/o resonator on later. Sounds pretty good, Kpro will make this thing a beast.
Checkerd Sports shift ****, on stock K 20 box (that's why the boot looks kinda low)
First time ever driving on my own new shift ****, overall I really like the feeling of it and weight was good too.
Bolt Boys V1 bolts, cleaned up those nasty old ones real good.
