***** BUMP, car was stolen 1 year ago tonight 9/28/11. *****






Well it's been just over three months since my turbo Milano Red EM1 was stolen from S.E. PA. I am hoping by now that maybe some of the parts have been talked about, sold and/or used by someone. If you have seen any of these parts PLEASE pm me, I will be 100% confidential. I will not name names or places or shops or yards or anything. You and your info are safe with me if you’re worried about squealing. It takes a lot to step up and be honest! Help a fellow enthusiast out. Onto the parts list:

I won't name each part on the car because there would be no way to identify them. I will mainly stick to the large items and the parts that were custom fabbed and VERY easy to identify.

Head: Stock B16A2 - black/gunmetal Skunk 2 cam gears and a factory red ITR valve cover. Studs for the turbo manifold, no bolts.

Engine: B18C block - Stock sleeves bored .5mm over with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods

Trans: Stock ITR bought from Acura (no VIN tag) less than 1k miles

Wheels: Stock EM1 wheels with 225/50/15 BFG's up front Kumo’s in the rear. All four tires were well worn

Breaks: OEM size Brembo cross drilled rotors front and rear w/OEM pads. Extended wheel studs in the front.

Suspension: Koni yellows with Ground Control coil overs

- The intercooler piping is 2.5" aluminum which had some unusual bends
- The manifold is a Love-Fab Mini-me modified for dual 38mm Tial gates
- Two custom dump tubes
- The intercooler is a Spearco core with custom endtanks
- Custom 3" v-band downpipe

Good luck, I had a similar setup that got stolen last year.. I haven't seen too many LF manifolds other than my own, which is now someone elses.

bump for another pa victim i bet they find it in reading PA the stolen honda capitol on the great north east, they stole my eg coupe and 91 si in the same night and found them in the same garage in reading, the home owner claims he didnt know" i went in my garage to get a rake and there were to stripped cars in it" ... plus ive had 7 that i can think of off hand of my boys hondas stolen and found in reading in the last year so PA watch out ur not safe and they stole a rhd crx sir with glass roof.. in manyuk 2 weeks ago

Car was stolen 3 months ago and recovered. It was found in Allentown, but I know what you are saying about reading! Last time I was at Maplegrove with it several people from Reading expressed an interest in the car, but I have no names, plates, anything to even question someone. No leads, so I am hoping someone has seen one or more of my parts in the past three months.

BTW, I don't want the parts back. I just want names, locations, info etc.... If you bought my parts not knowing they were stolen you will get to keep them or I will pay you back!

Bump for you. I live in Allentown, sad to say. This place is pure dirt. I've had many hondas and its sad to say you really can't sleep at night here. Everytime you drive by somewhere a bunch of (let me not stereotype) be lookin at you all funny like they never seen a clean honda before. These motherfcukers just leer at you for no reason. I stopped in the middle of traffic the one time just to let them look at my em1, rolled down my window and made sure I seen all their faces. They looked at me like wtf? I really dont like ppl staring at me in general, not just cars. People around here get beat up for that kind of gesture, its Allentown. I can't believe that fact that these cars are around 10 years old and they still can't afford to work for this. Good luck on your find bro.

 

Thanks for the support! I know there are thieves in a lot of areas and even small sections of towns/city's, Reading, Allentown, Philly, Jersey City, NYC, Newark, Camden to name a few...... Basically anywhere the quality of life is lower than the national average. I can't say if the thieves were from Allentown or just used it as an intermediate spot to strip the car then take the parts back to their area.

An EM1 to the thieves is like finding gold even if they are cheap cars. Hell, a lot of them steal cars worth 3k or less. How pathetic! They got one from me and I will do my best to get them for doing it. If nothing else by posting pics of my parts it will limit their customers to other thieves because no honest person would buy a stolen part (if they knew it was stolen). We all know the police and insurance company will probably take the parts as evidence if you unknowingly bought them. That is why I am offering to pay the person back for the parts in exchange for coming forward. Unfortunately the chances of someone speaking up in this game is almost zero. Seems like it's inmature kids or thieves anymore.

Had a Super Sonic Blue Pearl GSR stolen a few years back. It took me 5 months to find that car in perfect condition and many years of hardwork to pay for it. They stole it after a month. It was found it downtown Reading with " Your red hatch is next" scribed into the door with a screwdriver. The red hatch wasnt mine, It was a friends. They came for it two years later. Must of gotten rich off of a stock EK hatch with Si wheels and CTR climate control bezel. I have a new security system now. LWRC 5.56
