Default Will code 6 make my car shut off??

I just took care of my my code 4 by changing my dizzy, but my cars still shutting off while driving. Its been doing this since i put the si trans on & i accidently ripped my engine coolant temp sensor, but i went to the junkyard & got another 1 & still my gauge wont go up when the engines warmed up. So will it cause my car to shut down is my question? Any help please?? This didnt happen before.

i dont believe the ect code will cause the engine to die, but i could be wrong. there are 3 ect sensors/switches though. one on the back of the block that kicks on the radiator fan. a 2 prong sensor on the side of the head that provides the ecu with info, and will cause the ect code if their is an issue. and lastly the 1 prong 1 wire sensor is for the cluster reading and it will not throw a code if it's not working.
