Ive never heard of Hankook.

What size wheels are you putting these tires on?
What kind of suspension do you have?
What are you going to be using the tires for? Just Street? Street/Strip?
What is your budget?

Ok, I have Kumhos, and they are not loud at all IMO. Only when they are cold do they make any noise.

if you push the khumos hard, they do tend to squeel... but for normal driving they arent loud at all. i love em.

Dunno what you consider cheap, but I liked my Yoko A520. They gripped well for autox but wore out quickly. They were about $110 a piece at the time. Also about a month ago Tire rack had a closeout on Yoko AVS intermediates. Awesome tire. I got 2 215/45/17 for $60 apiece.

hankook is another brand of korean tires. their tires are ok, but not as good as kumhos.

problem with kumho is they tend to bubble sometimes. not all tires, but some of them.

if you want something cheap and good, kumho is your best bet. if you are willing to sink some money down, yokohoma parada/michilin pilot/dunlop p9000/preilli are all good choices, but these will cost twice as much as a kumho.
