out of nowhere when i try to turn on my car the key wont get past a certain point, i have to keep pushin in and out on the key while keeping it turned until it finally goes thru... any ideas on how i can fix this issue and what needs to be replaced would be great

 

is the steering locked?

 

Pull the covers off and check the ignition switch. It may need to be replaced.

 

Sounds like a bad lock cylinder.
