Default hid headlights are different color

this might be in the wrong forum and sorry if it is. got a 94 accord ex. picked me up a xenon 10k hid kit, installed it and everything was perfect, both headlights were the same color a nice dark blue color. well then i removed the passenger side ballast and harness cause i wanted to relocate where the ballast was mounted, then when i hooked it back up and went on a drive, i noticed that my passenger side headlight is a different color now. so the driver side is still blue and now the passenger side is pinkish blue (more pink than blue), and they are totally noticibly different colors. so im just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem, or if anyone knows whats going on or have a suggestion. thanks for any help.

I have 12K for mines. One of my seems a bit more blue-ish purple than violet purple. But I lived with it but as for yours, I'd get it fix. It might have something to do with your Ballast. Not sure, so just do more research.

I think you would be better off with blue LEDs.

I'm having the same problem with my HID's. They were originally both 8000K but now the driver side has gone towards the 4300K temperature. try swapping the ballasts as I feel that it has to do with the ballast, I will be trying the same soon and will update you asap.

Well I'm not saying the temperature going down is bad, id be very happy if they did it together. Its just annoying that they are different. Of course going toward 4300K is better because that equals more visible light.

Swap your bulbs left to right and see if anything changes. Aren't those cheap PnP bulbs like $12 a set? If they're bad, buy some new ones. Preferably 4100 - 6K.
