1994 civic si hatchback

its been raining for a couple of weeks here in socal and my rear window keeps on fogging up, pressed the defogger switch and nothing happened, i checked the rear window defroster connections and one of them is missing, the pin that actually sticks to the glass is gone but the plug is still there, called up autozone and they said its a dealer item, called the dealer they said i have to buy the whole rear glass for $800 + tax . anyone know where i can buy/get these pins?

i did search but nothing came up except threads with sticking the pin back on the window....

You need to get a uni-clip replacement tab and tab bonding kit. I did like over a year ago but I never really checked if it fixed my defroster, because it never fogs up here. But yeah, I did it because I had the same problem as you. The connector was there but not the tab. I sometimes wonder what could have happened to the tab.. the last owner must have been retarded.
