i have a 89 honda civic sedan i did the mpfi swap and the motor runs but lags when pulling off checked the timing, plugs, and fuel... throwing code 16 and 14 need help anybody...... help me out

 

Have you checked what your codes r? 16 is injector or injectors thats your main problem. So maybe 1 is bad which makes you feel like your running on 3 cylinders. Or maybe all. And 14 is the iacv. That shouldnt be the problem tho.

 

thanks rubyndrew 4 the response... i got sum new injectors n resistor box 2day waiting to put it in the car... its 20 degrees outside with strong winds so its freezing....lol i read sumwhere that the zc timing had to be done different from the d15b's do u knw if this is true... 1 site saod 2 align the timing with the single mark of to the side of the 3marks.....

do u knw wurr the iavc is located n wat plug is suppose to be plugged in???? thanks for the help again
