Default downpipe flange

looking into buying a turbo sometime in the near future and am stuck on what i want to do for the exhaust side. i want a 3" downpipe as well as V-Band, however i cannot get a 3" V-Band with T3 housing. so my question is, should i just get the 2.5" V-Band and use a 2.5-3" transition, get a 4 bolt-3" V-Band adapter, or just stick with 4 bolt?

A 3" tube will fit on a standard t3 4 bolt downpipe flange. But if your dead set on a v band (which i find unnecessary as you rarely take off the downpipe anyways) you could always get a modified atp turbo turbine housing or have your modified to fit a 2.5" v band and then do the transition to 3" after the housing.

Just get the vband adapter or have someone weld a vband flange directly to the housing. I am using the vband adapter.

I think those adapters look tacky. It's not much more money to have it machined.
