Looks like you have a good turbo setup. You might need to get a little bit larger intercooler if you're wanting to those power goals. And I like electronic boost controllers because they help with boost spike and creep, and they're easier to change the boost. IMO.

Yea I was slightly concerned with the intercooler size. Maybe some others can chime in on that too. I think I can still return it for the larger one. The next size up is
27.5 x 11.75 x 3 which I thought would be slightly to large.

That's quite a hefty power goal for a stock bottom end... same turbo setup I have but mines on a B18C (stock internals) and I think I am pushing it with 300.

why switch back and forth between E85 and 93. E85 should be cheaper and safer. unless its just scarce in your area. but the setup looks good. id def go next size up on intercooler.

can't wait to see numbers. thats the same turbo ill be runnin in the next couple months.

Main reason I was gonna have two maps was for when I drive it to shows and such, I dont ever wanna be stranded because theres no E85. So everyone thinks this intercooler will heat soak? When I bought it I asked if it would handle 375-400 and they said no problem.

I would go with a bigger intercooler because once you boost, you're probably gonna eventually want more, and if you're intercooler is rated to 350hp, then you're gonna want a bigger one anyways later. It's not gonna hurt to get a little larger one.

Just ditch the intercooler for a precision 350hp or something similar and youll be good, Nice first setup.

I'd look into getting forged pistons and rods, maybe even springs and retainers as well; all extra insurance.

I think you will be fine hitting 375-400whp on e85 but do understand your tune will need to be spot on. at that point your making alot of whp per liter and that puts alot of stress on anything internal wise. I have seen quite a few really high hp turbo b16s though. the nice thing is if you crack a ringland you can buy a new bottom end for less then 100 bucks lol

Im using the b16 for that exact reason. It was very very cheap. I have a spare LS block im gonna start building for next year. Ive seen really good numbers on stock b16s thats why I went with it for 1/3 the price of a B18c I was gonna buy.

exactly the cooler will meet your goals, and double them as well if you ant it to. I run pretty much the same cooler and its handled 600+ alot of people think they know whats they are talking about because there brothers cousins daughter had issues with something other than precision/garret blah blah blah. The cooler is fine man.

now on to the motor itself the bottom end has been proven to do 500+ h.p. on a completey stock bottom end your fine with it man. I would spend money on other things since you going to be running the corn like I am. I missed what EMS are you going to be running it on???????. ide go with a traction bar setup as well for better traction also. A better boost controller as well.

its funny to see people say this wont work or that wont work just because they have been told it wont by someone in the past. htere are alot of threads on here now showing that alot of the old myths are not true.

good luck and have fun man

Yea I will definitly be running a traction bar setup. Car will be tuned on Neptune RTP. Ive researched a lot of stock block builds so I fully understand the risks and what Im getting myself into. Im confident it will last. I got that MBC for free and never really had plans to use it. Any Boost controller recommendations? Whether Manual or Electric

Looks good man! It is nice seeing so many nicely done Hondas these days. There isn't a many of them here and just seems like more and more thrown together cars riding around.

And yes your intercooler will do just fine for what you are doing, but a Precision will out perform it. I wouldn't go out and spend more money on a new one but if you catch a good deal on a used one I would get it. I will be getting one soon and doing my own dyno tests to see if my results verify the research I have done.

Get an AEM Tru boost gauge/controller. Easy to use, has a bunch of cool features, and you can find em pretty cheap.

Yea im gonna try to fine an AEM Tru boost used. Im gonna run the intercooler until I see its truely holding me me back or that I have high IATS. Ive heard too many conflicting sides on it.

Picked up a victor x and GE fuel rail for dirt cheap so I had to pull the trigger on it, Instead of the performer x

Get a catch can setup and you can make 400whp... that intercooler is going to kind of small which could give you high iats but i still dont see that being that big of an issue...

what kind of cooling fan are you running? spal 13" should be your response
