I TRIED to repair my rim (pic)
Well as you know I got ran into a curb and totally ruined 1/2 the LIP on my rim. I tried to repair it BUT got the wrong color paint and it kinda came out weird. It looks MUCH and I stress MUCH better then it did before BUT I may have to sand it down AGAIN (for the 3rd time) reputty it and get the right paint. But for now I think its all good. What do you think (note: When the brake dust piles on I don't think you could notice as much and the pic makes it look worse). I'm not done yet people

Second note: the scratch is ABOVE the red line (you can definatly tell that the color is different)

well, if you have money to blow them take them in to get powercoated/sprayed all the same color.
otherwise don't worry about it...after a little brake dust settles on there no one will know the wiser.

actually the pep boys you went to....doesnt carry the proper gun metal. even if you use the gun metal they claim as gun metal its not gun metal.
i dont know if that made ANY sense at all.
the autozone near you has it though
also, if its a curbing, you need to probably respray the entire face before it looks "right" again. unless you wet sand alot and take your time with the curbage.
btw tweakmeister is right. brake dust = g00t

There is a S2000 color that is identical to the gunmetal color. Does anybody know the name AND paint code for it?
