is your car an si, or is it dpfi to mpfi converted, if it's converted, make sure you didn't accidentally connect the 2 wires reversed, that will throw a code. If not, pull the 10 amp hazard fuse under the hood for 30 seconds and see if it goes away and if so if it comes back. If it comes back, lmk and I'll get some shots of the flow chart to diagnose the tdc sensor.

Its dpfi to mpfi with obd1. Just got a new jumper harness & the dizzy is fresh from a jdm yard. Ppl keep telling me that 2 wires might be crossed but i took it to swapshop & he plugged corret. Then im throwing a code 6 for the engine coolant temp sensor. Would that make me run like ****? ever since i put my trans on its been starting all weak & it turns off sometimes.

i would check your grounding. Than plug check all your connections under the engine bay. After you figure that out try to reset your ECU by either disconnecting the battery and taking the ECU fuse out and if you want take the 10a hazzard out.

I have a simmilar issue except i throw code 9 and that is it.

I purchased another dist. and i still throw the code. This is OBD1. i have examined the orange and white plug many many times my self and have gotten diffrent readings on each dist.

I have tryed to get power to the memory to clear the code. Nothing i do works.

My last resort is purchasing a new OEM honda TD44u dist. from honda for $500 or 550.
Seems like a big waiste of money being that the sensor could be bad inside. No one knows. This is not provided it works.

the code has been going on for months. never get any other codes just this one and its annoying
