Obviously.

This is the parking brake handle itself which should have no difference based on that. Maybe it's leather?

You should have included this key point in your thread title. Title edited.

It's definitely not leather.

For some reason or another the "classy gray" is almost $20-30 more for the non-Si models. The Si is in "classy gray" as well.

I mean, the EX and Si are both dark gray but there is a specific part # for the Si model.

I'll just order it and compare.

I ordered it for tomorrow, so I'll let you know. I currently have the "EX" one.

I've noticed before that some "Si" parts are more expensive then the same part (color, etc.) on other trim levels. I think this happened on the front lips, but I haven't checked recently so I'm not sure.

That seems to happen often, the trim levels equal different prices online so I'm always sure to check S prices and #'s.

Just had my parking brake handle disassembled today to fix the switch since the emergency brake light on the dash will not shut off. Good news the switch is fine which means I probably have low brake fluid. "Classy grey" sounds pretty funny.

Also forgot my user name from a while back so here we go again!

Yeah, it does sound funny, especially for a 90's Civic.

Yeah, the "Si" part is about $20 less than it's equivalents. I work in the Honda parts department and if it's one thing I've learned it's that a different part # means there is SOMEthing different about it.

With the exception of S84 rear pads that are interchangable with about 10 other numbers

I'll find out tomorrow.

Got it. The only difference I can see after comparing it to the EX one is that the threaded portion that the equalizer / nut is on, is longer by about 2 inches.

I don't see why that'd make a difference though.
