i used that white lithium grease on my sunroof as the guy posted a topic similiar to used that grease and i did, but my sunroof still shakes everytime i open it. When i close it, it's fine. Only happens when i open it, it shakes. I cleaned it with WD-40 and wipe it real good and used the gun to squirt on the grease and spray aresol lithium grease, but still shakes everytime i open it. any ideas?

 

ive got the same problem. ive tried silicon spray, 3 in 1 oil, lithium grease and wd-40 and it still jumps

 

try a thin coat of vasoline. Worked for me, just because I'm in a warm environment which keeps the vasoline slick. HTH

I just took care of this problem on mine on Saturday. I used a rag and wd40 to clean out all the dirt and gunk off of everything I can reach. Then I used the valvoline synthetic grease on all the rails. I rubbed all the friction places with it. Open and closed a few times. There is a slight shudder on the last inch or so when opening only. I will have to consult my helms to figure out how to pull it apart for a thorough cleaning.
