Accord Immobiliser Problem ??
Hi There
I'm new here and hope some of you experts can give me a little info ...
I own a 99 Rover 620 Auto(2lt petrol), which I'm sure you are all aware, is a Honda Accord under a Rover shell ...
Anyway, in the past few days it has refused to start. It cranks as normal, but no go ... as if it's not getting fuel. I notice that when I turn ignition off, the "key light" (immobiliser ?) flashes 5 times. The only cause I can think of, is that during our recent Arctic conditions, I opened the boot (trunk) which was slightly frozen, setting off the alarm ... The car has refused to start since !!
Has this in some way "triggered" the immobiliser and if so, can it be re-set ??
Many Thanks
