Default Ground Control Stock sleeves to koni sleeves

So i want to order the ground control coilovers, and put them on my stock gsr struts but later on i want to upgrade to koni yellows with top hats.. is there a site i can order the koni sleeves?

they're actually ground control sleeves made to fit the koni yellows. so you can get them from ground control

What my friend did, was buy the Koni spec Gc's and then just ran no name sleeves/adjusters on his other shocks untill he could afford the Koni shocks.

Ground control sells them, for around $120.

what if i were to run just the gc spring on no sleeves, would that be bad for the spring?

The sleeves are going to have to be Koni specific (they have a lip where they sit on the Koni shock) meaning they are designed for those specific shocks. Can you put them on other shocks? Yes. I would just wait and get everything together OR buy the shocks first and you can run a spring of your choice (oem,lowering spring, etc) Then get the sleeves and you'll have your set-up.

With just the gc spring, your car will be very very low.

Nah, I run just a 8'' Skunk2 springs for a while, without causing any damage to the spring. Handeling, ride quality is completly thrown out the window. I almost got air born on the connection joints on the highway several times.
