Been looking around, and some places want $160 for 2 bulbs? Anyone know some good quality bulbs for a fair price?

 

why did yours go out to begin with? usually there is some kind of warranty when you purchase a kit. I bought a digital ballast kit recently from www.hidvault.com . They do free shipping and the kit is pretty ace.

$95 for 2 Philips D2S 85122+ 4300K bulbs. Hands down the best HID bulbs on the market.

 

If you have an actual retrofit, I suggest the website PatrickGSR94 gave you. If you have a PnP kit without a retrofit, I suggest www.ddmtuning.com. Lifetime warranty, and good customer service. Cheap prices to boot

 

+1 on ddm, there like 20ish bucks shipped. u can actually buy a new kit from ddm for like 30 lol

 

^^^ DDM tuning for sure i just ordered my HID Kit and recieved it in 3 days time. AWESOME prices cant beat it with lifetime warranty.

 

I always buy my bulbs from DDMTuning i would check with them before anyone else.

 

Do the bulbs from DDM tuning flicker at all. Just wondering since there at a pretty cheap price. Im lookinf for a good set becasue all the ones Ive ever had flickered. Need some that dont flicker at all. Maybe a harness will help it..

 

i only use ddm's stuff...great prices as mentioned, great customer service. however as there is usually a catch, i have had several issues with my kit that i installed in my car. the bulbs do flicker from time to time, (i do have the harness installed also)...now tonight i hit another issue where my pass side lights for a 2nd then shuts off completely. takes like 20 tries before it stays on. but its lifetime so no worries, ill just call , get a return number and in 3-5 days have new...bulbs are SUPER cheap too, however if you only purchase bulbs its a 1 year warranty...lifetime applies to kits only. the kit in my bike has been excellant no problems for 2 yrs so far.

 

The Retrofit Source. They're awesome guys and if you have any problems I can call up or email & get a very quick response. I'd spend extra with these guys for their service. I upgraded the bulb to the plus version recently but will probably try out the new Morimoto 5000K bulbs with the 50W ballast :D

would something like the raptor kit work for fog lights? same goes for using hids for the high beams?
