Straight cut gears
I was wondering can you take a stock transmission and get all the gears swapped for straight cut gears?
arent most honda transmissions helical or something like that?
and i was just wondering with straight cut gears does that mean you can just slam into gears without clutching and down shift without clutching thanks.

you can swap in straight cut gears to stock transmission, but the shifting will be somewhat rougher n noisier too, you don't want that if it's a DD car...and yeah you still need a clutch....
The shifting won't be any different, as the gears are in constant mesh.
Straight Cut gears are NOT the same as Dog Engagement. You can still have straight cut gears with synchronous engagement (e.g our Road/Race Series Gears), which can be used fine on a daily driver and are not noisy at all.
