ok so I wired the dc gauges up in my 89 sedan. Ive read on here that you can take the speedometer/odometer portion out of your stock gauges and hook it up to a cable vss and then wire the DC gauges to your ECU. this allows you too keep track of your original mileage and see the speed on the DC gauges. Does anyone know how to do this? The guy who stated this didnt reply to my message so he must not use hondatech ne more

 

Only way I have ever known it to work was to use an electronic vss. Your mileage will not be the same, but once the vss is hooked up your odometer will register new miles traveled. Never heard of anyone swapping anything from the factory guages into the tegs....

 

sorry man been hella busy with work and the holidays n crap. i'll post up a how to tomorrow as i HAVE done it using the stock speedo guts. not hard to do
