Default Camping or Innkeeper?

What is everybody doing for the NASA-VIR? Innkeeper in Danville, or camping at the track?

Camping = Inexpensive, relaxing, close by and enjoyable until Grumpy starts talking on the PA.

Innkeeper = Loud, more expensive than camping, climate controlled and not affected by the elements, god damn entertaining as shizzle y0!

Innkeeper on the side farthest from the McDonalds. Best blend of culture and comfort.

Oh, I know the pros and cons. Just wondering if the NASA peeps camp at all (last Fall at SP, I was one of three or four campers, which was boring). Innkeeper does own.

I am camping, as is The Captian. I believe whitney and his wife will be as well. I'm sure there are others too. I imagine David Teague (announcer guy) will be too. Come on folks... it'll be fun. No alarm necessary, you certainly won't oversleep, and all you have to do to make it to the driver's meeting on time is stumble out of the tent.

Camping gets

Whitney - yes, wife - no. She will be in Chicago meeting up with old friends from college. But I do plan to grill a steak and corn on the cob, and drink some chianti just like last year Gotta keep up that whole BMW driver image.

You doing Fri and Sat or just Sat? I'm undecided... If the weather's nice, I'm tempted to go for both nights.

I'm doing the Hojo this time. My last room at the Innkeeper smelled a whole lot like the locker room at my old high school and there was some sort of penicillin experiment going on with the shower curtain.

I'm not a camper on race weekends. I'm a huge fan of A/C and heat (whichever is applicable).

With my luck, I'll end up w/the room where Ceas hid the old burritos in the air vents.

I think ceas put them in the microwave for like 10 minutes or something, then hid them. After like two minutes they wouldnt cook anymore...it was the worst smell ever.

Word on the street is Ceas is now in Atlanta. InnKeeper just won't be the same without him.

I will be camping Friday and Saturday, along with my son, in the nearly antique Winnebago. Hopefully in the paddock.

SWMBOed and my daughter *might* even manage to join us, probably for
Sunday.

I think I'll be staying at my house. 50 minutes away, my own bed, and a refridgerator (NOT a cooler) full of ice cold beer.
