quick abs question
hey guys i just got finished searching for this and i couldnt find anything but i only took about 30 mins and got super sidetracked with the wire tuck thread! but are the TYPE-R and GS-R abs units the same or different??? can some body give me a defenite answer and not just a guess??
For the 1998-2001 model years, the modulators, hard lines, and master cylinders are the same, while the ABS computer and the "proportioning valve" are different.
For the 1997 model year, just about everything was different. The '97 ITR used the '98+ ABS system, while the '97 GSR was still using an older setup with a much larger modulator.
