Disable o2 sensor or no on p28 chipped ecu?
I have a 93 prelude vtec running a p13 until moisture messed up the ecu, causing it to run really crappy, misfires, idle problems, felt like fuel cut off while driving causing car to jerk from accelerating and suddenly enginebreaking. ran super rich caused one month old spark plugs to turn black,
running a p28 wit b16 map for temporary, drives okay, no jerking, but still rich and misfires.
going to get a p28 with h22 basemaps. I currently have a CEL for o2 sensor, and my car is still running really rich,
should i disable the o2 sensor when i get it chipped? is it better to leave it enabled or disabled? thanks.

If you are throwing a code for an o2, there is no point in running o2 feedback unless you have a working o2 sensor.
Running a "basemap" without o2 feedback is ok if the basemap is actually a good basemap.

thank you sir! also will disablin the o2 affect smog or have anything to do with running rich?
I dont care how good someone is at making a basemap...all motors have slight intricate differences thus the reason for o2 feedback that is an emissions control device on a stock Honda.
I've had cars I have actually tuned pass emissions in NY, CT and NJ that I know of of...but Cali is by far more strict on emissions.
