i really need yall's help
did any of yall drive your civic si (06)
and when you redlined it in first gear then missed 2nd gear, being stuck in nuetral hitting maybe 7-8k rpms and tried then to put it back in 2nd gear. (this happen twice as my friend was driving his car)
After the first try it was okay,
but the second go around,
his car would be like in 6th gear doing 8k rpm doing like 50.
I thought it was the throttle cable, since his rpm's are fluxucating all over the place.

Please Help Hondatech!
It would be greatly appreciated.

PS: His clutch is somewhat worn out, buy the car has only 35k miles on it and is bone stock.

btw, Honda ditched throttle cables after 2006. So 2006+ vehicles use a electronic system called Drive-By-Wire (DBW).
