Default few questions about ef replacement harness

im in the process of trying to map out building a new harness from scratch, im having a couple road blocks though and maybe some that have build harnesses before will share some light or at least point me on the right direction.

little back ground on what im trying to do:
building a ecu out harness that is for the most part plug and play in a 88 crx hf with a obd1 ecu setup do to the fact the original ecu harness had alot of cuts and splices

in my mind if i build the harness to keep the rectangle 8 pin plug and the 6 pin plug (with only 3 of the 6 plugged in) on the passenger side of the engine bay all the interior fuctions should still work as normal (reverse, coolant gauge, fan switch, distributor power, starter power, oil pressure, alternator, iacv and ground) i know i will have to splice in the stuff like brake switch, ecu backup power etc etc at the old ecu plugs

so now for the real reason for the post, can i steal igp1 and ipg2 (pins A25 and B1)from the distributor or iacv power on the 8 pin connector or should i just tap into those when i tap in for the back up power, brake switch etc etc. thats the only thing keeping me from ordering all the wiring i need to get started and i wanna make sure i have my ducks in a row before i start wasting money... Thanks

Heres a quick tiP Guy........Just get a harness out of a 92 and up civic eg and get the harness of a car that is complete stock if you can and begin the process lable every plug so ull know where it goes and then youcan delete what u dont want get the entire harness from headlight too taillight egine compartment engine harness and inside all the underdash and so on and youll be better of than using that old harness that came with your car EF's are old so try too update it with newer stuff.

www.helminc.com

The IGP1/2 power comes from the main relay/fuse box underhood. This power then goes to the ecu at IGP1/2 and goes to the injectors, IACV, etc. in the engine bay.

i guess thats what im asking is if the iacv, injectors etc etc share the same common power source as IGP1/2, i know once you go up the factory harness on a ef IPG1/2 are tied together i just didnt know if further up they are tied together with the IACV etc etc

and when i go through the obd1 civic wiring diagram it shows the wiring feeding IGP1/2 also feeding the power to the o2,iacv,injectors and evap circuits. so to me in my mind thats correct i just wanted some others input
