I have received the four extra wires for my swap but I'm having a problem getting the pin to go into the connector. The metal piece of the connector on the pins I received that is on the portion of the pin that is furthest from the connector when I insert it hits the connector when I try to insert the pin into the connector. I almost can get it all the way in but it hits the metal piece when I try to get it it in all the way. Do I need to clip that metal piece off so that the connector will fit or am I doing something wrong here?
