Looking for a cheap/fair priced mechanic who knows what theyre doing in Oakland. Just want to have a mechanic who I can go to when I need work on some of the cars in my household. Ie. Timing belts, valve adjustments, brake flushes, diagnostic etc.

I've been to Oriental Auto on 5th Ave before a few times, they're alright, but just seeing if anyone has a mechanic in the town that they use or recommend.

I went to JSR Performance to mount some tires before, young guys, real nice, but haven't looked into their mechanic work yet as I think they're mostly a wheel/tire shop.


I really like the reviews and prices of The Shop in San Bruno, but that's just too far for me.

 

Anybody? Looking to get a valve adjustment on an MDX done soon

oh yeah i know about that place, drive by it all the time. completely slipped my mind to consider them, ill check out their prices

 

swung by trust, but they didnt have experience doign valve adjustment on mdx. any other suggestions?
