i have a 89 4 door civic and the rear window defroster doesnt work. is that something common? i havent checked the fuses cuz i dont know know witch one it is. any held would be great.

 

Yes it is pretty common since they are older cars. But first things first, chck the fuse. There is a diagram on the plastic cover. also if u have a tinted window it is more common since the heater lines that run through ur glass can easily be damaged. An easy way to check for this is to take a multimeter down the glass on every line and check the continuity of them. If one of them are damaged they make repair kits for them that are fairly cheap and easy to do.
