Do these RTA bushings look O.K. to you?
Well 7 years ago (early 2003) i installed some ES poly bushing in my car. Its my DD and has plenty of miles on it.
The front end bushings would squeak like crazy when it got cold. I got tired of this and swapped them out a few years later (in 2007 to be exact) for Hard Race units. I got the full HR kit but never change the RTA bushings until today. I expected to see the ES ones looking pretty rough but they look good IMO.
There is one thing that bugs me though. The flat part of the mount is starting to tuck into the bushings. It almost looks like the RTAs are creeping out to the sides of the car. Anyone else with ES bushing have this happen?

on a related note....
The rear toe arm bushings from HR are almost a full mm bigger than the OEM bushings. Just a heads up to y'all on that.

Dont look that bad to me either.
On a side note, How do you like the rubber bushings compared to the poly? I am considering the switch the poly, but I am on the fence. What do you like best?

Do you mean compared to the OEM or the Hard Race rubber?
The poly was way better than my stock bushings.
Here is the thing with the poly, they need to be taken care of. I would clean and lube mine every so often. They also squeak. Mine got really loud when it got cold even though kept them lubed up. One more thing about the poly bushings. They are wider than the OEM ones. This makes some tasks harder, like removing and reinstalling the front LCAs.

whatup dude, got your FB msg
The inner part does look a little weird. There's a reason a lot of us clown on poly bushings
I got the full HR kit installed myself, earlier this year. Got them all done except for the F7 rear LCA's. The guy who pressed them in reported no issues with pressing any of the bushings, except for the bore on my left rear upper arm looked a little deformed, and he had to put a spot weld between the bushing and the bore to keep the bushing in place (he said the old one just dropped out
).
Oh yeah, I still have the ES greasable sway bar bushings on my ITR rear bar, the ones we installed in Starkville that time, like 2003 or something? I'll probably eventually switch to OEM ITR sway bushings back there at some point.

Well Pat the OEM ITR swaybar bushings i put on in 03 are 100% O.K. I just lubed them up with some Crytox and slapped them back on. I was thinking about getting the ones like you have until i took mine off and looked at them.

I like the Hard Race units over the poly for the lack of squeaking and the fact that i don't have to take the car down and clean/lube the damn things. Ride wise they seem to be about the same.
