Which hatch for a swap (or more !?) ??
I am checking out an older hatch or CRX as my next car (possibly), but don't know everything about the features.
Whatever I buy would end up with either a swapped motor or turbo, (or both) but I need a daily driver NOW. I have been shopping for older hatches and have seen CXs,DXs,Sis,VX's...etc. I don't know which one would be the best choice. I am fond of the Si as it has a sunroof, disc brakes and is prewired for vtec.... (nice ecu too) But am wondering if another hatch would be a good/better choice.
If I purchase an older 4 speed civic hatch, would there be a problem swapping in a sohc or dual cam in the future ? Would there be problems with the wiring harness for a newer OBD1 or OBD2 ecu ?
Please help... the rental won't last forever.

if you are going B series, there isn't problems with switching from Single Cam to Dual cam motors, unless you go with H, then it's still possible but it's weaker mounted when you swap the stock motor back in.
