Help With Starter Replacement
I'm having to replace the starter on my buddy's 2005 2.4 Accord. I've replaced a few starters, albeit never on this model. I'm reading here and there over the 'net that I'll have to remove the intake manifold to get to the starter (which I find a little much). Is this true? Or is it simply removing the battery cables and the bolts/wires connected to the starter? Never heard of removing the intake manifold for such a small problem.
Thanks for any advice and apologies in advance for any unknown ignorance I may be showing haha.

Yes, you do have to split the intake manifold to access the starter. The manifold itself is a 2-piece design, so it's not too difficult to remove. If you have tools and mechanical aptitude, you won't have a problem.
