Default LS HEAD WITH A CROSS THREADED SPARK PLUG HOLE!!! =/

HEY WHTS UUP GUYS. I JUS BAUGHT THIS LS HEAD OUT OF A 94 INTEGRA. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS 1 OF THE SPARK PLUG HOLES HAVE BEEN CROSS THREADED CUZ I GUESS THE IDIOT PUT THE WRONG PLUG IN THE WRONG WHOLE!. ANYWAYS LONG STORY SHORT. I GOT IT FOR CHEAP. ONLY $30 BUKS! PERFECT CONSIDERING IM GOING TO START BUILDING MY LSVTEC FOR MY HATCH. SO I WAS ALREADY PLANNING ON GETTING THE HEADS MACHINED BECAUSE IM GONNA ADD CAMS AN DO SOME STUFF. SO MY QUESTION IS WILL MACHINING IT WORK OUT ALL THE KINKS? OR WILL I HAVE SOME OTHER PROBLEMS? AN FOR MY 88'EF HATCH WOULD IT BE A LITTLE SLEEPER IF I HAD THE LS HEAD WITH A B20B BLOCK? CAMS,BOLT ONS,PISTONS,A AFTERMARKET MANIFOLD AN FUEL RAIL?

B20 in a hatch is always fast and fun. A Blox or Skunk2 intake mani, Crower 403 cams and retainers, a good header, some ITR pistons, ARP rod bolts and balance the bottom end would be a killer setup for a old school hatch. That setup should get you into the low 13s at least in the 1/4. A fuel rail is not going to get you any hp and stock is good for 300hp. I have an AEM rail on my B18 but I got it for $20 so I could not pass it up, bling factor. To fix the stripped spark plug threads you will need a spark plug Heli-Coil, or a machine shop can do it for you, you will be sending the head out to be milled at least right.

So how are you going to achieve ls vtec with an ls head. Either you have it backwards or I read your post wrong.

Honda's dont have "heads".

LSvtec requires you to have a vtec head.. not just a vtec solenoid...

Lose the caps.

so much LOL in this thread... dude thinks he needs a PnP so he can justify purchasing a bling-tastic fuel rail.

Should work fine, just make sure you get the green VTEC fluid, the red kind is not compatible for Ls/VTEC.

hey man i was actually being sarcastic. you will never get vtec on a ls head.. i have no clue what you wrote in your last post. but we are all trying to correct the information stored in that brain of yours to the correct information. seriously, instead of fighting with these guys just listen to them, you may learn a few new things. having vtec with an ls block (which makes it an ls/vtec) can only be had with using a b16 or b18c1 or c5 head (which has vtec) not the ls head (non vtec). do you undertand now.. not to insault you but a 5 year old could understand this.

First off, you paid $30 for a LS head with a bad spark plug thread. That is not cheap. I get them for $10-20 in perfect condition.
Second of all, use a timesert spar plug kit, not a helicoil for the spark plug thread.
Third, an LS head on a B20 is the same thing as a stock B20, granted unless the B20 came with a P8R head.
Finally I smell a troll
