91' CIVIC COILOVER HELP
So I have a 4" coil over set with camber kit front and back. How low do I start, how low can I go with just this and still drive, how low is to low? What is yours lowered, can you send me pictures? Will I run into any unexpected obstacles I should prepare for? I plan on using the stock shocks; some have said I need to modify them by grinding off the old spring mount to work, is this true? Is there any easy or fast way to adjust my camber kit?
Thank you for your time, I want to be ready when I start this!

get yourself a set of brand name coilovers or lowering springs and a decent brand of shocks...if your just gonna daily drive your car then you should ditch them camber kits also and just get a good alignment and worry about your toe...!!!
I have tokico blue shocks on mine with some ebay sleeves and springs. Sleeves are all the way down. Nice and stiff little bouncy because of the springs but not too bad. You can lower it as much as u want depending on ur liking, if u lower it a lot u will get camber wear on ur tires unless u get it aligned. Too low and u will most likely dent the crap out of ur oil pan and headers. Ocassionaly u will get stuck on speedbumps and teeter totter back in forth until ur front tires hit and u floor it to escape lol!

Slap on the coilovers and set them at the height that makes you happy and make sure to get an alignment after you're done. Like Chorizo stated, toe will kill your tires long long before camber does so don't even worry about camber kits.
The car is also going to ride like ****, stock shocks don't react too well to the load that high spring rate coilovers and a drop put them under. So replace the stock shocks when you get tired of bouncing around uncontrollably.
post pics when you're done.
