Pic of my 5th gen at the auto-x
It was out at the woodlands yesterday. Pretty good time I dont know how I did I havent seen results yet. I did take 4th out of 9 in sts at the KC championships a few weeks back. Not bad I think considering it was only me second auto-x. Also two KC people took 4th and 8th at nationals as well and they were 1st and 2nd at the KC championships so I feel i am doing fairly well. Just need lots more seat time.

Falken azenis sports on stock ex rims
Koni/neuspeed sports (yellows) front and rear
Neuspeed "race" springs (the konis are neuspeed special editions mattched to this spring)
Suspenion Techniques Rear sway bar
Neuspeed strut tower bar front

well mod wise nothing more really other than my cai (whooptie freaking do vtec is loud) Then there is the custom turbo kit and h22a enroute as we speak. Along with all the build up parts. I am going street mod next year (obviously) but right now its all in making the accord handle better.
I will be in KC from Jan to March... I look forward to running against you. Unfortunately I doubt there will be any events that early in the year. I'll have to organize a wintry KC meet.
Sonuds like a plan, hit me up on aim some time KC95AccordEX is my screen name. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention on my mods that I do have jdm headlamps, a phillips 4300k hid kit and I cleared out the orange lens in my tail lights. Those are the only "looks" mods that i have.
nice! reppin for us 5th gens... i cant wait, our next event is on the 6th also.

exaccord-Yes I do need wider wheels/tires next season I should hopefully have some rota circuit 8's. I have heard that they are making the 15" for the accord now. I will have a set of those and proably some falken azenis set aside exclusively for auto-x. I have the azenis now and like them quite a bit

Nick M-As far as insights going (being that I am still a complete newbie at auto-x) the only thing I can say is get the back end firm. We all know (at least 5th gen coupe folks) how the tops of the rear shocks are not accsesable with out moving some stuff. Well yesterday for the first time I took a wrench and pulled the bar out of the way long enough to adjust my rear konis. Made all the diference in the world nice imporvement. However it sucks on the highway so make sure you take them back down before you go home.
Speaking of making the rear end more firm. I have had thoughts about tracking down a good rear strut tower bar, or Having one custom made. It would be somethign pretty thick and solid (no holes in the bar like dc or piviot joints kind of making the whole thing worthless) If any one knows of anything out there let me know. Otherwise I might start looking into making my own.
Thanks for all of the complements fellas
honda tech is THE best honda site on the web IMHO *now I sound like a suck up hehe

I've been thinking about trying to make one that incorporates an X braces so that the those two sheet metal braces that prevent shock adjustment can be removed.
I've got a couple drawings at work I will scan and post tomorrow.
edit: not that that would be legal in STS

Kuhmo Victor Racers ownz joO!!!! Of course .. that would bump you out of STS into SM ... where I am getting spanked by a 1965 Shelby Mustang GT .. DAMN HIMMMMMMM .
But I Have a secret weapon being added to my car soon, so hopefully it will help shave off a second or two.

if you have your swap done by next year, you should definatly skip the azenis and just get victoracers or another R-compound tires because in SM no one uses street tires...
