(i just replaced the oil pressure switch, because it was leaking)

Is it just leaking oil or burning it as well?

Have you replaced you PCV valve? If it get's stuck open you can burn through a quart every 100 miles easy.

Don't try to clean it, get a new one from the dealer. I don't like the kragen/autoparts store ones.

I got my pcv valve for less than 3 bucks at Autozone...a car with close to 200k miles sounds normal to burn a quart of oil...do a dry n wet compression test to see if u really wanna look into it

My accord lost three quarts of oil in 400 miles so when I opened up the engine cover the bearings got scares all over so I am now due for another engine. 6th Generation accord are junk but they look nice. I change oil every 3K or 4K and check it about every 10 days. Since I bought the car and had no trouble tell yeserday but it had burned only a quart every oil change so what triggerd this is beyound me because I keep the engine very clean and sea foam every other month and it runs like a champ still with scares on the bearings but I know the engine is done so I am pounder a new engine of the same year or do a complete swap over to a K24 out a 2oo4.
