Sportline springs, the prokit generaly lowers a inch or less.

but then the ride quality will significantly degrade, right?

The ride will become stiffer, as the spring rates are higher, however I dont think I would call it a significant down grade.

Cheeper? I am not sure, there is H&R, tein, and some others. The price you found is a hell of lot cheeper then what I was seeing.

oem stock spring rates are normally 100lbs front & 150lbs rear.
sport line spring rates are like 220f & 250r... so not a big difference but you'll for sure feel the difference.
