alright so i have a 91 dx 4 door and i need to replace the tail light because mine are all busted up. i was wondering if i could use 88-89 tail lights since i like that style a lot better than the newer ones. im just not to sure if they are a plug and play deal or if i will have to modify the tail light harness in any way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes they will work...not sure about modifying the harness though...!!!

 

idk about sedans but i have a 91 hatch with 89 taillights.. i didnt have to modify the harness but the 90-91s have an extra socket that the 88-89s dont have a space for.. so i just didnt put a bulb in it and they work fine

 

Yes you will the plugs are different and you will also need to move the reverse light wiring from running up the trunk over to the sides.

ive looked for one but couldnt find one.

 

its probably easy enough that u dont need a write up
