Hi every, im new to the forum.

I have a Civic type-r ep3 here in the uk.

Ive got got a good amount of carbon fiber on it and ive just got some seibon side skirts.

Has anyone else on here got them?

I need alittle info if possible.

I took my original standard side skirts off today and went to fit the seibon ones, but they wouldnt fit, i measured them against the original ones and found they were 5mm shorter.

If anyone has got pics of them fitted a ep3 that would be great or any info would be great to. Thanks guys

 

since they are replicas they are all kinda short. I heard you have to trim both the front and the rear of the side skirt and just try to grind it down till it fits.

 

I understand that but 5mm is alot to gain thou. Me and my bro was pushing them on that hard it was starting to make some funky noises so stop

 

other than the grinding it down not much more i can tell ya or help ya with unless you drop some money down on the real ones

 

dont know if its because im from the uk but, drop some money down on the real ones? what does this mean?

If it means what i think it means, ive already got honda original side skirts and they fit spot on but i need to fit carbon fibre ones so that it matchers everything else.

 

Don't be a UK ricer and just keep the OEM side skirts.

Or you can be a TOTAL ricer and get the 3M carbon fiber vinyl and wrap your OEM sideskirts with it.

oh ill keep the OEM side skirts as us UK lot can take them off and put them on with relative easy

Im putting the carbon ones on thats no questions asked. Had a quick look again today and ill just let bodyshop do them

Its looking that way to be honest. Just wanted to get them on before it went in to bodyshop, oh well,

 

i meant to get the type r ones but didnt realize you already have them. we get USDM ones here so i didnt think before i typed

Ive got the Seibon ones on, they look spot on.

Gunna sell all my old skirts, spoiler and lips
