Looking to purchase some shocks for my DD EF and looking for some insight/input from you suspension guys who have experience with various companies.

I know the price of the AGX's, GR-2's and Yellows and the AGXs and Yellows seem to be the same price. I currently have the yellows on my DB8 and have had the AGXs on my previous DC2. I like them both but I feel that with them being the same price, I would go with the Yellows as they are more "adjustable" than the AGXs.

I have never ran the Skunk2 Sports, GR-2s, or any Tokico so I have no personal thoughts on them. One of the reasons why I am turning to you guys.

I know what I would like to spend but I am looking to see if I could get the same performance out of a different shock to save some coin.

Set up is 91 EF w/ 8k/6k Omni coil sleeves. Not looking for a full coilover setup, althought I have considered the Skunk2 line.

Any input, thoughts, opinions are appreciated.

With the rates you are going to run, I would deffinetly say go with the Koni Sports.
They are a assume shock, and life time warranty to go with it.

The koni Sports are around $450-500, (for my car, not sure if it will be more or less for you). Either way, I cant see the difference being to much.

 

Just get the Koni yellows. You will not be disappointed.

 

Yes, I know I wont be. I currently have them on my DB. I am interested in something that will save me some coin and be worth the money on my DD EF.

450-500 koni sport

end of story
