I recently purchased a 2000 Honda Accord 3L auto. I have a couple questions. After speaking with the Honda Dealer, they said the transmission had not been replaced under the extended warranty. I may resell the car due to finding out the transmissions in that particular model had issues...

Where will I find the trans serial #?
How do I tell if it is the original transmission?
