Help with 3 issues
Hey whats up fellas:
My accord has some issues lately. I have owned it since 04 without and problem but until recently so I have 3 issues/question for you guys:
I have a 2002 v6 sedan
1) The speedo doesnt work correctly. Once awhile it would work when its cold out. I believe its not the speed sensor because i can still use my cruise control. I have no idea what is wrong with it. I got a new cluster and it does the same thing. Any ideas?
2) My air conditioning hose has a hole in it. The tech stated i should replace that and the air dryer unit. He stated that if i dont replace the dryer but just the hose the i run a chance of getting moisture in the unit and the compressor will stop working. Is this true? Can I just change the hose?
3) When Im driving the car make this 'driving' noise like im driving a truck with mud tires. Its hard to explain but its sounds like an off road truck. It increase/ decrease base on my speed. Its not the tires since i just replaced them last week. Could this be the rotor bearings?
Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
Richard

The rotors don't have bearings.
As for the a/c hose, yes you should replace the receiver dryer unit. Would you want water in your engine oil? Nope, the only thing that should be in your ac system is 134a and PAG oil.
