it works to put a "dummy load" on the wiring...
Ive heard its a 140 ohm wire and i heard it was a 147ohm wire... anyone know?... Id like a pic too if anyone has one...
its for/from the edelbrock turbo kit

7 ohms is pretty little. I've used resistors close to what's called for in other things and it's fine...including chipping ECUs. Just find like a 140 or 150 ohm resistor, should be $1 for a 5 pack at RadioShack

Found out what the resistor is for and they said 140ohm. Look at page 10, it's the wire for the solenoid. It says it's so that the ECU doesn't know that it's not actually engaging the solenoid since the standalone is.
I think it'd be better to ditch the edelbrock tuner and just use Hondata or Chrome or such.

most people that have the edelbrock kit are running a chipped ecu.. not many people like running the turbo link with the edelbrock...its very limited without the tuner module. i believe its a 140ohm resistor though. im running chrome on my edelbrock kit myself and ditched the secondary injectors

i asked which is it 140ohm or 147ohm... he said 147ohm so im not sure now..Finally got into contact with Turbolink in Costa Mesa... Im going to pick up the wire monday
... I wanted to get her running this weekend but guess i have to wait....Ive read that the turbolink is actually pretty good u just have to buy the tuning hardware... and its 100% tuneable
retail for that is $250
apexi imma aim u to chat about it if its cool
