Question about 5 lug spacer conversion
Anyone ever done the conversion? Basically it's a spacer that fits into your 4 lug setup and converts it to 5 lug. I'm being offered all 4 for 170...not very bad considering each pair is 130 online. Reason I ask is I'm buying some volk te 37's(16 inch) for 600...these are my fav wheels. I have an integra, 95 ls. I'm wanting to know more info before I go ahead and purchase them without knowing eveything...last thing i want to do is spend 170 and realize there's a huge fitment problem. thanks!
A quality set will run you around $350 new, there are a lot of lower quality sets available, but this is one part you do not want to skimp on. Theres a great thread about these somewhere, but I can't find it..

Adapters push the wheel's mounting point out from the car. You'll need a higher wheel offset to compensate. Unless you like the wheels sticking out past the fenders look.
so since the spacers i'm looking to buy are around 50mm and the volks are 30ish mm, then it would stick out right? hmmm...i def do not like them to stick out.
I used them with no problem to run a set of 4x114 Mugen M7's. It worked out because it was a 20mm spacer and the Mugens were +50 offset which made the car sit at +30mm offset.
I'd first figure out the exact offset of the wheels and the width of the spacer.
