I used Vaseline on my ITR valve cover a few months back. Nice light coat and let it sit over night. Thing looked so shiny i couldn't believe my eyes. It goes away after a few weeks though. You have to keep applying it to the valve cover
i use this stuff called CD2 engine deatailer that i got at autozone...it works extra good on rubber hoses and etc...and works very well on the V/C ....it actually keeps that wet look ....i figured it would burn off with the heat..but it doesnt ...
somone told me about using vasaline...but yuck...the grimmy mess it will leave behind is a unbearable mess to clean ....
