Throttle body Advise
hey everyone. So i am finally tired of my skunk2 tb and how stick it is, so i am coming to you all to see which throttle body you all would perfer. im looking for the same quality but not sticky. I was looking into the blox tb. i beleive the person that owns bloxs used to be with skunk2, so would the blox be just the same as the skunk2? thanks for any help guys. oh it will be on a ported skunk2 manny.

I have had good luck with the Omnipower TB's. Great price and quality parts. BBK and edelbrock have nice products as well.
The throttle body you have must be one of our much older units as the Version 3 throttle bodies we have had out for the last year or so have been nothing short of perfect. OP check your messages.
i would go with an omni throttle body...they can be purchased for $99 shipped through vendors here on HT. if skunk has indeed fixed the sticking issue they had with previous throttle bodies then they should replace yours for free...otherwise would you really want to give a company more money after selling you a product that had a known manufacturer defect?

Glad someone else thinks the same.

Professional Products! Best throttle body I've ever used. Keep in mind they only have them in 65 and 68. Looks exactly like a stock unit with great throttle response and best of all no sticking.
Omni Power has the best deal for $99 shipped
We keep them in stock :-)
I've been using a Spoon tb for years with zero issues. It's pretty much a whored out ITR tb. For the price though it's tough to argue with the omni. Has skunk2 offered you a warranty of some sorts though? Might be the "cheapest" option at this point.

yeah i just desided to take off the skunk2 and use it when i dyno the car for sh*ts and giggles and see if there is any differance from the 70mm tapper to a 68mm omni and the skunk2 pro series 68mm TB. i have already ordered the omni, i mean you cant beat that price! even if it ends up being a test peice

there is a new tb out on the market now. cant remember the exact name but it was something like SK or close to it.
very very nice product w/ quality bearings and rotor. by far the best looking most solid tb i have seen w/ the honda bolt pattern.
very well priced also and come in up to 70 or 72mm.

only thing i could find was s-k speed racing eguipment, yeah they have throttle bodies but i could not come across any that even came close to fitting d/b/h/f/
the brand is S90, they have been in buisness for around 10 years and just came to the usa earlier this year. heres a link: http://s90racing.com/index.asp
i believe they are currently working on a new website also
they offer a 74mm tapered to a 70mm plate.
you can get them for as little as 150.
this will be the next big thing in throttlebodies as soon as people start finding out about them. they are super nice and a great price.
